Note: Must have working Experience in Pharma Manufacturing.

Responsibilities:

To supervise all warehouse related activities & ensure that all warehouse processes are running smoothly & promptly. 

Role Description:
  • Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision.
  • Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations.
  • Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization.
  • Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements.
  • Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security.
  • Liaise with clients, suppliers and transport companies.
  • Plan work rotas, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results.
  • Produce reports and statistics regularly (In/Out status report, dead stock report etc.).
  • Ensure compliance to regulatory requirements like cGMP, USFDA, etc. and other systems like ISO etc.
  • Ensure compliance to timely receipt, proper handling, storage and dispensing / issue of Raw materials, Packaging material and engineering material.
  • Ensure compliance to proper handling, control and timely disposition of rejections and expiry materials.
  • Proper accounting and safe custody of Raw materials and Packaging materials.
  • Cleanliness, upkeep, control, and general administration in the warehouse.
  • Train the people on the systems & procedures for effective implementation and to enhance the performance levels of individuals.
  • Keeping track of changes applicable in regulatory/statutory requirements and meeting them.
  • Upgradation of facility to meet future business needs.
  • Ensure proper and adequate investigations for incidents.
  • Optimum utilization of storage space, manpower, and available resources through proper planning.
  • MIS and participation in review meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with the dispatch of scrap from all types of processes from beginning to end.
  • Ensure compliance and timely dispatches of finished goods.
Skills Required:
  • Proven work experience as a Warehouse Manager.
  • Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices.
  • Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Experience of working on SAP B1 software.
  • Strong decision making and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
